My dad doesn’t always make the best choices. He thought he wanted a cross-eyed boy cat, but then he spotted me and it was love at first sight. I was long and slender and my fur was a bright bluish-grey with my yellow eyes piercing the through the cage. As he approached, I let out a loud meow and as soon as he opened the cage, jumped into his arms and rubbed my face on his chin. That was it. From there, I have been by his side every day since then. I am a very special cat; at least that’s what my dad tells me. I like to think of myself as unique and full of character…and snacks. I like to take showers every day. In fact, if I don’t take a shower, I am a grumpy cat. I am a champion napper. If the sun’s out, I want to be outside snoozing in the grass or watching over all the other animals from the porch. If it’s cold out, I am going to lay on the floor vent so I stay nice and toasty. I am serious about relaxing, and nothing helps me relax more than yoga. My dad and I do yoga almost every day…sometimes naps are more important than yoga. When I want to feel energetic, I like to dance. Luckily, there’s always music playing in the house. I like it when my dad plays vinyl records and we dance and swing around. I’m very happy you came to see the video that Stan and my dad made. I hope it makes you smile. I had just started a new career, and I wanted to have some company because I worked from home. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I met my soulcat that day. Indi changed my life literally from the first day. She latched onto me and she’s been with me through all kinds of crazy adventures, including driving across the country and once getting thrown off an airplane. I never thought I would like being a cat dad, but I can’t imagine life any other way now. I feel like Indi has trained me to know what she wants just by a look or a sound. I carry on full conversations with a cat. Yeah, I’m that guy. I like to include Indi on my adventures. She rides shotgun if we are in the car, or in my backpack if we go to the park or for a hike. I’m not sure if I am Indi’s therapy human, or if it’s the other way around. I thought it would be fun to make a movie with my friend, Stan Clawson to show just what a character Indi is.
